A bit about me
THE JOURNEY.
I am Tommy Davies and I run DaviesTape by myself, I am 18 years old and play for Whiteley Wanderers. I have been playing for Whiteley since I was 4 and would get a nosebleed if I went too far up the pitch. Love a long throw.
In 2026, I ran the London Marathon in 3 hours and 59 minutes, just under the four-hour mark, alongside my coach and dad, Steve. Together, we also raised more than £8,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital. In recognition of that fundraising, I won Whiteley Wanderers’ 2025/26 Club Contribution Award. I have also spent the last two to three years in and around men’s football, continuing to learn through playing, training and being part of the team.
Away from playing, I regularly go to the gym, work for Davies International Transport and coach a Whiteley youth team. My aim as a coach is to help develop players and support them all the way through to men’s football.
Capturing different sides of my football journey, from matchdays to the moments in between, is a hobby I really enjoy. DaviesTape is my football portfolio, where I share it all from my perspective.
